Udgir or Udaygiri is a city with a municipal council in Latur district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is located in the Marathwada division of the state. The city is located very close to the Karnataka border. The town is famous for its historical Udgir Fort, also known as the “Udaygiri Fort”
